All employers covered by OSHA regulations, including general, construction, and maritime industries, are also covered by the recordkeeping requirements, unless the employer meets an exemption.
OSHA’s Recordkeeping Requirements
Many employers with more than 10 employees are required to keep a record of serious work-related injuries and illnesses. Minor injuries requiring first aid only do not need to be recorded.
