Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene

What is Industrial Hygiene?

Before taking this Industrial Hygiene Class, its good to know a little bit about Industrial Hygiene.

Industrial Hygiene is a science and art devoted to the prevention and control of environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace. These factors or stresses may cause sickness, impaired health and well being, or significant discomfort among workers or among citizens of the community.

Businesses usually hire an Industrial Hygienist, to take care of these issues. They are people who are committed to protecting the health and safety of people in the workplace and community.
But what happens if you can’t hire an Industrial Hygienist? Another option is to outsource your needs.
The goal with any business is to protect workers, their families, and the community.
And this class is a great start in achieving that goal.
